1. After a long long long long search, I've finally found a Catholic bible study/devotional that I love -- Blessed Is She! Woo hoo! It uses the Daily Readings from Mass, and has many contributors from varied backgrounds, is all online and available via daily email, and it's pretty.
2. Speaking of bible stuff, I had the brilliant idea to add tabs like these from Majestic. Add tabs, they said. It will be easy, they said. HA! I spent the better part of the afternoon applying these suckers. The best part was when they attached themselves to EIGHT PAGES AT ONCE and I had to cut the adhesive from the thin, fragile page with surgical precision so as not to render the (brand stinkin' new) bible permanently mangled. The finished product looks a bit like a preschooler handled it. I am NOT a crafty person, no matter how much I may try.
3. In the past two weeks, I've stepped way way back from the essential oil biz. A series of unfortunate events with Young Living, combined with an overstuffed schedule and a honest appraisal of my priorities has led me to walk away from that whole scene. (This is really a whole 'nother blog post, but I wanted to throw it out there now.) I feel so much lighter, less frazzled, less drained. Clear - which is how I want to feel as often as humanly possible. Lesson here: Don't be afraid of mid-course corrections. There's no shame in getting halfway down a path and saying "Oops, nope this isn't for me."
